Privacy & recommendation transparency

Last updated: 5 September 2026. Customize this pilot with the operating hotel’s legal identity and contact details before commercial launch.

Information used to build a plan

Your travel choices—such as party type, budget, mobility needs, dates and preferred activities—are sent to the concierge to generate an itinerary. The latest plan is stored on your device so you can reopen it offline. A sharing link is stored for 90 days when you explicitly create one.

Optional analytics

If you allow analytics, the service stores a random pseudonymous device session identifier and events such as planner starts, generated itineraries, directions clicks and feedback. It does not need your name or email for planning. Choosing “Essential only” disables these optional events.

Hotel service requests

A request to reception contains the name, room, contact details and note you submit. It is visible to authorized staff of that hotel and is scheduled for removal from this concierge after 180 days. A request is not confirmed until reception responds.

Local reviews

Local ratings use a random device identifier to limit duplicates. New unverified ratings are moderated before affecting recommendations. A hotel can reject suspicious or inaccurate submissions.

How recommendations are ordered

Plans combine guest preferences, editorial quality, locally supplied ratings, weather suitability, distance, opening windows, previous guest outcomes and itinerary compatibility. Sponsored places must meet a minimum organic-quality threshold, receive only a capped boost, and are labelled “Partner.” Payment never changes a factual local rating.

External links and commissions

Directions, official websites and booking links open third-party services with their own policies. Some labelled booking links may earn the operator or hotel a commission after a completed purchase. A click alone is not treated as a completed booking.

Corrections and questions

Use the “Report” option on a place to flag incorrect information. For access or deletion requests, contact the hotel reception shown in the guest guide. The production operator must publish its own controller contact before launch.
